The Barrett Town Scholarship program is an initiative designed to encourage students to excel academically and to provide much needed financial assistance to foster their success in high school. HTIL will grant funds totaling $1000 USD each year to the 4 top performing Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT) students who live in and attend the two primary schools in the community:
- Barrett Town Primary School
- John Rollins Primary School
The 4 top performers will comprise of the top boy and girl from each school; and each student will receive $250. HTIL will sponsor 4 new GSAT students every school year while sustaining existing scholarship recipients. To be sustained from grade 7 through grade 11, each recipient MUST
- Remain in good academic standings and
- Demonstrate behaviors befitting good student role models

By 2020, HTIL plans to provide 20 scholarships (the maximum number of scholarships). This effort could is dubbed 20 by 2020!.
